The £100K Drop (formerly known as The Million Pound Drop and The Million Pound Drop Live) was initially hosted by Divina McCall. Contestants, either on their own or in pairs, are given cash at the start of the show before being bombarded with questions. Contestants choose one of the two categories before each round and are faced with two drop zones. Cash must be placed on the drop zone they think is correct. The moment the timer reaches zero, the chute for the incorrect answer opens up and devours all the money placed here. The chute representing the correct answer stays shut, and this money is then used to continue with the game. This process is repeated until the contestants either run out of money and lose or reach the final, where they answer correctly and keep all remaining money.
Supersized Fun
Money Drop Live features one wheel, a money drop area with 4 drop zones and a card clash battle bonus. To play, place your bets to enter the drop games and/or the card clash game. You only have a set amount of time to place your bets. When betting is closed, the live host will spin the wheel to determine which game is played. You can bet on as many betting positions as you like, including 8x quick drop, 15x 1 drop round, 30x 1 drop round, 100x 2 drop rounds, 250x 2 drop rounds, 1000x 3 drop rounds, 2500x 3 drop rounds and the card clash. As soon as all bets are placed, boosters are revealed and highlighted on the screen.

In drop games, you play with money based on your bet multiplied by the winning sector’s multiplier. When the game begins, you need to place all of your money onto one of the four drop zones – A, B, C or D. There’s a 1 in 4 chance of winning. Look out for the enhanced rounds when there is a 50/50 chance of winning via two safe drop zones. If you choose the correct chute, you win the money on there.
In the card clash game, you play with your card clash bet. First, you pick a side and watch as the sides battle it out for the highest card, which ultimately grants the winning side a multiplier. Multiplier enhances the card clash bet and defines the round payout. For example, if your side wins and you score 3 ties, all participating players receive a 1000x multiplier!
Every round, a booster has the ability to double the multipliers on that wheel, pushing the to a max of 5000x, or it has the potential to increase the number of winning drop zones to 2 instead of 1.
