NetEnt sees great potential and has plans to conquer the USA
It was over a year ago that Pennsylvania gave the go ahead of online casino gambling and since this, gambling companies have been lining out to do a deal with the fifth largest state in America. NetEnt, the globally renowned online software giant has announced plans to deliver its suite of games to Pennsylvania, after submitting an application to the Pennsylvanian Gaming Control Board (PGCB), in the hope of being granted a Pennsylvania gaming license. Many gambling operators are looking to the US now, what with a ban on sports betting being overruled by a majority earlier this year. Pennsylvania took more tax revenue from gambling between 2009 and 2011, than any other state in America and with them being home to more than 13 million residents, NetEnt see great potential here.
Comments on the Proposed Deal
Managing Director, of NetEnt Americas LLC, Erik Nyman commented; “We are excited to continue our strategic expansion in the US. We have enjoyed success in New Jersey and believe that this will continue in Pennsylvania. We will launch with a mix of our table games, video slots, jackpot games and unique features like free spins that have been greatly appreciated by our customers and their players. Our ambition is to be live in Pennsylvania as soon as the market opens.”
