Big news coming from the Isle of Man headquarters this week regarding a deal between Microgaming and Big Time Gaming which will see Microgaming produce many Megaways branded slots from 2021. The software providers trademarked Megaways title is earmarked to be placed into a number of upcoming titles and in this long list of promised games, the first on the scene will be Shamrock Holmes.

John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming: “Megaways has had huge success and we’re excited to be integrating the mechanic into some of our future games. Big Time Gaming is proven innovators, and we are delighted to extend our relationship with them and grow their presence on our platform.”

Nik Robinson at Big Time Gaming added: “We’re on a mission to bring the Megaways revolution to a bigger audience, and they don’t come much bigger than Microgaming. These guys were industry pioneers and today they remain one of the biggest forces in the gaming space. As ardent slots fans, we’re delighted to be contributing in a small way to the Microgaming story.”

We’ve come a long way in terms of features since the Megaways mechanic made it onto the online casino scene back in 2016 when BTG’s first slot was released – Bonanza and now as new software providers jump on-board with the mechanic; new more sophisticated ways of winning are emerging. We can’t wait to see what’s in-store in 2021.

The software provider’s new directives include a five-second interval between spins, a monthly deposit cap and a maximum stake limit. However, not all Microgaming titles will be available on the day of transition, just some 150 games including these top titles; Book of Oz, 9 Masks of Fire and Bonanza.
