Evolution Gaming were among the big winners in this year’s EGR Operator Awards and it was their improved version of the Dream Catcher wheel that stood out. Monopoly Live emerged as the Game of the Year what with immersive gameplay, a 3D virtual reality bonus feature and engaging gameplay.

Speaking after the lavish award’s ceremony at the Grosvenor House Hotel in London, Evolution’s Chief Product Officer Todd Haushalter said: “We are honoured to win this award for MONOPOLY Live and it has been a true pleasure to work with one of the world’s best-loved brands to create such a unique game. Winning back-to-back EGR Game of the Year awards is something we never dreamed of. We make games we think players will love and that we want to play ourselves and that is always our focus. However, to be once again honoured by our peers in the industry with this award is so very special and something that motivates us all for 2020 and beyond. A huge thank you to everyone at Evolution that made this a reality.”

Created in partnership with Hasbro, Evolution Gaming’s Monopoly Live is a unique live casino game based on elements of one of the world’s best-loved board games – Monopoly. The popular property trading game features plenty of the excitement and suspense but add to that the world-leading money wheel game and you’ve got yourself another red-hot game with big winning potential.

Featuring multiplier values ranging from 1x to 10x, two chance card elements, three sections for 2 rolls of the dice and one section for 4 rolls of the dice, Monopoly Live is a virtual win masterpiece. Place your bets with the value chips on any of the options (all if you like); 1x, 2x, 5, 10x, 2 rolls or 4 rolls before the timer reaches zero. If the wheel lands on a multiplier value you have a bet on, you win the stated multiplier. If the wheel lands on chance, all previous bets are held and the wheel is spun again and the multiplier won will multiply the winnings for this next spin. If the player gets a multiplier once more, their multiplier will be multiplie.

The 3D bonus round is activated when the wheel lands on either 2 rolls or 4 rolls; this is the least number of spins players will receive in that round. If a double is rolled during the board game phase, an additional go is granted. Mr Monopoly will boost the value of the positions on the board and wherever you land, that’s the multiplier you will receive on top of your stake.

Monopoly Live is extremely popular and is the second release from Evolution Gaming to feature a money wheel; Dream Catcher was the first award-winning wheel to come from the live casino game giant and we bet Monopoly Live won’t be the last.
